I have just come from my vacation in Bali, Indonesia and I can say that despite of the rains (it’s rainy season there), I had a fabulous time there. I stayed at a private villa in Bali, near the hive of island activities, at Seminyak. I must say that the Bali private villa I rented was everything I could ever ask for in a restful vacation. I was near the conveniences of a big city, but being in the villa felt like I was alone in the island with my husband. The view from the other Bali private villas we visited at were magnificent, especially if you’re overlooking the ocean. We were surrounded with the vivid colors of nature — that is the blue of an occasional clear sky, the bright green of the rice paddies and the vibrant red of a marvelous sunset.
Food was good and quite easy on the pocket and in times when we preferred to stay in, we managed to arrange with the villa operator to send in a cook who prepared a Balinese feast fit for royalty. Everything was a taxi ride away, available round the clock for those inevitable night outs, and needless to say, very safe. I will definitely come back for another exotic Bali vacation.
